Job summary

Lumbermens Merchandising Corporation (LMC) seeks a Kitchen & Bath Buyer to strengthen dealer relationships, promote supplier programs, and grow purchasing volume. You will manage orders, coordinate quotes, and ensure accurate billing while supporting designer training and events.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a customer-facing role, can analyze dealer needs, negotiate terms, and travel to events. Hybrid work arrangement with office days and remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, merchandising, design or related field or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in a professional business environment with customers, dealers, purchasing or supplier programs.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to explain programs and ordering details.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with Kitchen & Bath dealers via phone, email, virtual and in-person outreach.
• Assist dealers with special and job orders; source through approved supplier programs and coordinate quotes.
• Explain program terms, rebates, pricing, delivery options, and billing requirements to dealers.
• Promote supplier programs, launches, events, and training to drive participation and volume.
• Develop knowledge of Kitchen & Bath products, suppliers, and market trends.
• Evaluate and implement new supplier programs to meet dealer demand with strong pricing and service.
• Analyze dealer purchases and program participation to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain records in CRM, Purchasing Workbench, and related systems; coordinate follow-ups.
• Plan and support designer training events and communications; create presentations.
• Travel to company events and dealer visits; work from the office four days a week with one remote day.
