The role of Principal Associate emphasizes rigorous data analysis, cross-functional leadership, and delivering high-impact recommendations for state and district partners. Travel is expected, and the position follows a hybrid schedule with a Watertown, MA office base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• At least 5 years in strategy/management consulting or district strategy.
• Strong quantitative analysis and meaning-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliverables.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Independently design and execute analytic plans translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Drive milestones through proactive project management and delegation.
• Lead and coach team members to align work and ensure deliverables.
• Create concise, audience-ready materials for external partners.
• Manage mid-level partner relationships and foster collaboration.
• Contribute to knowledge base with research and best practices.
• Support culture-building and organizational stewardship within ERS.
