Job summary

LifeSecure Insurance Company in Michigan seeks a Jr. System Administrator to support day-to-day IT infrastructure and helpdesk operations. You will perform Tier 1/2 support, user provisioning, Windows and Azure administration, and participate in IT projects to keep services stable and secure.

The role requires an Associate Degree in IT or related field and 3+ years of help desk and systems administration experience. A Microsoft Certified Professional or higher is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years of general help desk and systems administration support experience is required.
• Microsoft Certified Professional or above preferred.
• Strong relationship building, networking, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to adapt, plan, and communicate quickly in a complex, highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the service desk ticket queue, ensuring timely triage and resolution.
• Provide consistent follow-up with users to confirm incidents and requests are fully resolved.
• Administer and support Microsoft Azure services including Azure Virtual Desktop, Entra ID (Active Directory), and Microsoft Intune.
• Manage user provisioning and deprovisioning across IT systems including Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
• Participate in IT projects, contributing to planning, testing, and implementation under senior staff guidance.
