Job summary

MedImpact Healthcare Systems, Inc. in Nebraska is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Administrator to oversee Windows and Linux servers, backups, SolarWinds, Hyper-V, and Azure.

You will monitor, patch, and keep systems secure while supporting internal clients and maintaining documentation for the team. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree plus four years of experience, familiarity with CMDBs, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with Windows and Linux server operating systems.
• Experience with Exchange and Active Directory.
• Experience with Hyper-V networking and change management.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Experience with patch and backup management.
• Experience with Azure infrastructure and TruNAS storage.

Responsibilities

• Researches and recommends automated approaches for system administration tasks.
• Interacts with customers and engineers via phone and e-mail.
• Oversees and owns internal systems including Windows, Linux, Backups, SolarWinds, TruNAS and Hyper-V.
• Administers Remote Desktop Services and Clustering.
• Manages Azure infrastructure including backups and restoration.
• Documents issues and resolutions for knowledge bases.
• Provides metrics and reports from ticketing systems.
