Job summary

OneChild is seeking a proactive Junior Software Engineer in Colorado Springs (hybrid) to elevate the Bridgely platform’s capabilities. You will build features, draft PRDs, and collaborate with external contractors while leveraging AI-assisted coding tools.

You will own small-to-mid features from PRD to code, troubleshoot issues, and support users with a focus on security and data integrity. Bachelor’s degree required and prior AI-tool experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience using AI tools for software development and automated testing.
• Experience with SQL, REST APIs, Node.js, and cloud services (GCP).
• Ability to work with external contractors and write clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• AI-driven software development for frontend and backend features.
• Draft PRDs translating user needs into technical requirements.
• Oversee technical support, troubleshooting, and escalations.
• Collaborate with external contractors on feature builds and hand-offs.
• Query and manage databases with SQL; ensure data integrity and security.
• Implement automated unit and integration tests with AI tooling.
