Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the Reactor Vessel Internals team in Cranberry Township, PA. You will provide technical support for reactor vessel internals design and analysis while working in a hybrid capacity.

The role reports to the Manager, Reactor Vessel Internals Component Design. It requires a BS in mechanical-related field, strong attention to detail, and good technical writing. The base salary range is from 58,400 to 73,000 USD per year.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics or equivalent.
• 0+ years of experience.
• FE exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical calculations and evaluations using engineering tools; document results.
• Develop design documentation for safety and non-safety hardware, including drawings, specs, and qualification reports.
• Coordinate with technical leads, PMs, and customers on work scope.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites and vendors for on-site support and issue resolution.
