Job summary

The Segal Company (Eastern States), Inc. is seeking a Junior Accountant (Finance) in New York.

You will support day-to-day accounting operations, including reconciliations, journal entries, and monthly close, with exposure to budgeting and internal controls in a collaborative environment. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field and 1+ years of experience; familiarity with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Power BI is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related discipline.
• 1+ year of accounting/financial administration experience.
• Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
• Prepare balance sheet and expense account reconciliations with GL and bank data.
• Create monthly internal P&L and provide ad-hoc analyses for leaders.
