Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- Four (4) years of experience in engineering or related field.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Web Services, SQL/DB2, and multi-platform development.
Responsibilities
- Works with Systems Analysts to create and implement technical requirements.
- Supports existing applications and new solution development.
- Participates in Agile sprint estimation, planning, and execution.
- Performs technical design reviews and code reviews.
- Ensures unit testing is completed for all new development activities.
- On-call support and monitoring of system.
- Maintains technical development environment.
- Mentors others and may lead multiple or small to medium projects.
- Facilitates sessions to elicit requirements, design, reviews, and troubleshooting.
- Supports vendor evaluation.
