Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Senior Engineer to deliver end‑to‑end application and system development across complex multi‑technology platforms for a designated client group. The role requires in‑office presence 1–2 days per week with some flexibility for remote work per company policy.

Responsibilities include leading requirements gathering, change management, and technical design reviews, while mentoring others and coordinating vendor evaluations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• Five years of IT experience.
• Master’s degree is preferred and adds value.

Responsibilities

• Maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and lead requirements‑gathering meetings.
• Own the change request process; coordinate with other teams as necessary.
• Provide technical guidance and contribute to cross‑functional decisions.
• Research and propose new technologies; develop and own a list of final enhancements.
• Define application scope and objectives; prepare technical specs for programs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Information Systems/Computer Science

Master’s degree preferred
