Job summary

Goldbelt Nighthawk, LLC is seeking a Programmer Developer to design, build, test, and deploy a system leveraging web technologies. You will work with the project team to support process analysis, problem diagnosis, and workflow optimization.

The role is hybrid remote with on-site work at least 2 days per week in New Orleans, LA. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and experience with Java and JavaScript, plus the ability to pass background checks and NAC investigations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a computer-related field.
• Working experience with Java and JavaScript.
• Ability to pass a background check and NAC investigation.
• U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java source code for Middle Tier and Front-End components of a web-based application, test the components, and document the programs.
• Participate in functional/technical discussions with analysts and developers.
• Translate requirements into detailed coding steps applying software development knowledge.
• Provide troubleshooting for core Java concepts including thread dumps, caching, connections, memory leaks, and persistence configuration.
• Provide written status updates on tasks, including progress, issues, and future plans.
• Collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver quality software capabilities.
