Job summary

Creative Information Technology Inc (CITI) seeks an Application Developer for a hybrid role in Baltimore, MD. You will translate requirements into scalable web applications using Spring Boot, .NET, modern JS frameworks, and cloud services.

You will design, develop, test, and support web sites and applications, ensure WCAG accessibility, and collaborate across teams to deliver secure, scalable solutions using Docker/Kubernetes, REST/GraphQL, and AI/LLM integrations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of web development experience with current web tools, servers, and databases.
• 5+ years designing, developing and deploying web sites and/or web applications.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into the design of complex web sites, including integrating pages and applications.
• Apply new technologies to site development including Spring Boot, .NET, modern web frameworks, TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Track revision control with Rational ClearCase or other approved tools.
• Design, document, develop, implement, and support JDeveloper applications using Oracle 12c or MSSQL.
• Ensure website enhancements meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility levels A/AA.

Role and Responsibilities

• Our Client - Montgomery County is looking for seasoned Application Programmers, work schedule is hybrid - Baltimore, MD.
• Translate applications requirements into the design of complex web sites, including integrating web pages and applications.
• Apply new and emerging technologies to the site development process including but not limited to: Spring Boot 3+, .NET 8/9, modern web frameworks (Angular, React, Next.js), TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, Java, C#, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, Microservices Architecture, Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), Cloud-Native platforms (AWS, Azure), GitHub, and AI/LLM service integrations.
• Track revision control through such software packages as Rational ClearCase or other approved software packages.
• Design, document, develop, implement, and support JDeveloper applications using an Oracle 12c RDMS and/or MSSQL .
• Ensure the website enhancements are developed to meet accessibility standards WCAG 2.1 (at least Level A and AA)

Education

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline

• Three (3) years of equivalent experience in a related field.

Experience

• Must have seven (7) years of web development experience using current Web development and graphic tools, as well as Web Server and database administration.
• At least five (5) years of experience designing, developing and deploying Web sites and/or Web applications, including product selection, configuration, installation, maintenance, and site specific Web development languages and relational databases.
