Job summary

Citi is seeking a Java Developer (Apps Dev Intermediate Programmer Analyst - C11) to join its Technology team and play a hands-on role across the software lifecycle in an Agile environment. You will contribute to building, enhancing, and securing enterprise applications that support global financial operations.

The role requires 2+ years in an applications development role and hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST APIs, and SQL.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in an applications development role delivering production-quality code.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Proficient in designing and consuming RESTful APIs across distributed systems.
• Relational databases and SQL query skills.
• Clear communication to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to analyze problems, evaluate options, and deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop features with Java, Spring Boot and Hibernate.
• Build, consume and maintain RESTful APIs for system integration.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to support data-driven apps.
• Analyze apps for vulnerabilities, perform testing and debugging.
• Participate in all SDLC phases within an Agile framework.
• Implement asynchronous patterns and messaging for scalable arch.
• Provide technical guidance to stakeholders and peers.
