RedMane Technology LLC, a Chicago-based software consulting and systems integration firm, seeks a Java Developer/Analyst to join our growing practice. You will provide system analysis, development and production support as part of a project team, designing functional and technical approaches, testing, and supporting post-implementation activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' Java 8 web application development experience.
• Experience with WebSphere or other app servers (JBoss, Tomcat).
• Expertise in JSP and servlets.
• Experience remediating vulnerabilities from penetration testing.
• Ability to document detailed technical designs.
• Analyze and revise existing system logic; provide concise documentation.
• Provide support and enhancements to legacy production systems.
• Perform code reviews and mentor team members.
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide system analysis, development and production support as part of a project team.
• Design functional and technical approaches to create and customize functionality.
• Execute testing, training, user testing support and customer support post-implementation.
• Review code and mentor team members.
• Work independently and as part of a strong team delivering quality solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server; DB2 knowledge is a plus.
