Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks a Japanese-speaking Remote Support specialist to assist customers in Japan, troubleshooting issues via phone, chat, and email. You will build expertise across Rockwell software, including FactoryTalk product families, and collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex cases.

The role involves documenting solutions, maintaining customer relationships, and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
• At least 2 years' experience working with industrial automation products/systems.
• Proficient in Japanese language.
• Expertise in Rockwell software such as FactoryTalk View Site Edition, ThinManager, FactoryTalk Historian Site Edition, FactoryTalk VantagePoint, FactoryTalk AssetCentre, FactoryTalk Metrics, FactoryTalk Transaction Manager, FactoryTalk EnergyMetrix, FactoryTalk Batch, PlantPAX.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer support in Japanese by troubleshooting issues via phone, chat and email.
• Simulate and analyze clients' issues using available resources.
• Research, verify, and resolve reported issues.
• Maintain proficiency in Japanese; English helps.
• Capture issues and resolutions in Service Ticket notes and follow up with customers.
• Document technical solutions and best practices; share knowledge internally.
• Serve as liaison to customers for multiple Rockwell product families.
