Job summary

Colonial Group, Inc. in Savannah, GA, is seeking a Systems and Network Administrator to maintain, secure, and support hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

This role serves as the primary escalation point for network, systems, and endpoint issues, handling LAN/WAN, VPN, and Microsoft 365 connectivity with a security-first mindset. You will patch and automate tasks with PowerShell, manage tickets in Halo ITSM, and collaborate with Cyber Security on incidents while driving IT modernization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, certifications, and hands-on experience.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in systems and/or network administration within an enterprise, multi-site environment.
• Experience administering hybrid on-premises and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 (Entra ID, Intune, Exchange Online, Teams) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage, maintain, and troubleshoot Colonial Group's hybrid on-premises and cloud network and systems infrastructure, including backups and disaster recovery.
• Patch, upgrade, and harden network and endpoint infrastructure on a defined cadence.
• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Intune, and Microsoft 365 applications to enforce least-privilege access and MFA.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts and automation workflows for routine tasks.
• Maintain disciplined ticket management in Halo ITSM and participate in change management processes.
• Create clear, audit-ready technical documentation for active environments.
• Provide end-user and subsidiary support and coordinate with vendors and carriers.
• Partner with Cyber Security on incidents and remediation; lead small to mid IT projects.
