Job summary

Lincoln Avenue Communities (LAC) is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to lead the core infrastructure powering our employee experience and security. You’ll design, implement, and manage endpoints, SaaS apps, and identity across 4 regional offices in a fast-growing real estate platform.

You’ll manage M365, Entra ID, and Azure services, automate with PowerShell, and ensure data protection with enterprise backup solutions. Hybrid role requiring on-site presence three days a week in Santa Monica.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field required.
• 5+ years of systems administration and infrastructure engineering.
• Strong understanding of ITAM principles and hardware lifecycle management.
• Hands on with Fresh Service/JIRA/ServiceNow.
• Deep, hands‑on expertise with modern MDM platforms, specifically Intune and JAMF Pro.
• Experience with patch management, monitoring tools, backup solutions, and system troubleshooting.
• Identity Services: Entra ID (Azure AD) and Active Directory skills.
• Office 365 Email Infrastructure and secure email gateways (Mimecast/Proofpoint).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure services and hybrid infrastructure environments.
• Physical server room/IDF management (racking, patching, UPS).
• Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
• Automation: PowerShell scripts for M365/Azure administration.
• SharePoint Online and Teams architecture.
• AI-Assisted Operations: familiarity with Copilot / ChatGPT / Claude.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Network & Physical Infrastructure: Maintain Cisco Meraki stack across 4 regional offices.
• Vendor coordination: oversee low-voltage cabling and integrations by external vendors.
• MDM & Identity Architecture: Admin Exchange Online, Entra ID lifecycles, and secure mail routing.
• Endpoint Management: Deploy 650+ Windows/macOS endpoints with Intune/Autopilot.
• Azure Cloud Administration: Manage SQL, App Services, and Blob Storage.
• PowerShell Scripting: automate repetitive tasks.
• Data Protection & Recovery: monitor enterprise backups (e.g., Veeam for M365/Azure).
• SaaS & Platform Integration: serve as systems administrator for SSO/SAML and provisioning.
• Engineering Support: troubleshoot identity, network, security, and desktop issues.
