Job summary

Florida Blue is seeking an IT Systems Engineer to monitor, install, configure, and troubleshoot enterprise technology. You will support an integrated environment across healthcare and insurance domains, ensuring stability and compliance.

The role requires hands-on scripting, collaboration with IT and business partners, and participation in disaster recovery planning. Hybrid work from Jacksonville, FL with relocation consideration may apply.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in healthcare/financial environments related to HIPAA, PCI, SOC2, HITRUST and CMS compliance.
• 4+ years in design, deployment, monitoring and troubleshooting technology.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with integrated tech environments and enterprise standards.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Performs installation, monitoring, testing, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of assigned technology.
• Manages system/environment operations and ongoing tasks.
• Keeps technologies updated to current enterprise standards.
• Researches, designs, implements and tests technology solutions.
• Monitors performance and utilization; reports findings.
• Troubleshoots software/hardware issues and incidents.
• Handles tickets and requests; supports DR planning and exercises.
• Gathers data for reporting and planning.
• Collaborates with IT and business partners on initiatives.
• Assists with migration/upgrade planning and impact analysis.
• Writes programming/scripting for automation.
• Participates in infrastructure design input where needed.
• Supports security through policies and templates.
