Job summary

Ocean State Job Lot (“OSJL”) is seeking an IT Systems Administrator to manage and maintain systems infrastructure across stores, offices, and distribution centers. You will work with IT teams to deliver reliable infrastructure for business apps and data analytics, including on-prem and cloud environments.

The role requires expertise in Windows Server, AD/DNS/DHCP, cloud provisioning (GCP/AWS), backups, DR/HA, and cross-functional collaboration. Hybrid work with some travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in systems infrastructure in a mid-size/large IT org.
• Experience with cloud server provisioning (GCP/AWS).
• Experience with on-premise and cloud storage management.
• Proficient in Windows Server OS and domain services.
• Knowledge of ITIL service delivery is preferred.
• Experience in on-premise data center environments is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Manage server and storage infrastructure for stores, offices, and distribution centers.
• Maintain identity and access with directory services and devices.
• Apply OS patches and ensure security/compliance.
• Resolve escalated infrastructure incidents and requests.
• Ensure DR/HA and backups for compute and storage environments.
• Support IT systems and networking teams with infrastructure expertise.
• Document ITSM records and monitor SLA dashboards.
• Provide user-facing infrastructure services and support.
