Job summary

Red River is seeking an IT Support Technician to deliver frontline and escalated technical assistance to internal users across in-person, remote, and hybrid environments. You will resolve hardware and software issues, manage incidents, and ensure timely ticket handling.

The role requires strong Windows knowledge, basic macOS support, AD and Microsoft 365 administration, and excellent customer service and documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT, CS, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 1–3 years in a help desk or desktop support role.
• Strong Windows knowledge; basic macOS support preferred.
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management processes.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond to user-reported issues via phone, email, and remote tools.
• Provide support for hardware, software, connectivity, and productivity issues in remote, onsite, and hybrid environments.
• Troubleshoot Windows and macOS desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Document incidents and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Own assigned support cases and escalate when needed.
• Manage user accounts including AD and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Support onboarding/offboarding and asset recovery.
• Maintain endpoint patching and security standards.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and coordinate escalations when necessary.
• Support conference rooms and collaboration technologies and on-call support.
