Job summary

Landshark Recruiting is seeking a Tier 2 IT Support Specialist for a growing Long Island MSP serving small and mid-size clients across Nassau, Suffolk, and the NYC metro area. This hybrid role includes onsite client visits and remote support for Windows servers, desktops, and cloud services.

You will handle end-user troubleshooting, configure VPNs and SonicWall devices, manage Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Microsoft 365/Exchange, with opportunities to grow into senior IT roles such as system

Qualifications

1-2+ years MSP experience, 4+ years total hands-on IT experience.
Working knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 11, M365/Exchange, AD/Group Policy, DNS/DHCP/TCP/IP.
SonicWall or comparable router/VPN administration experience.
CompTIA A+/Network+/Server+ certification preferred; Mac experience a plus.
Reliable transportation and local to the area.

Responsibilities

Provide remote and onsite support for Windows Servers (2016/2019) and Windows 10/11 desktops in LAN/WAN environments
Handle hardware repairs, software installation, and general end-user troubleshooting
Set up and support SonicWall routers, VPN, and remote access
Administer Active Directory and Group Policy
Manage DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP configurations
Support Exchange Server (2010-2019) and the full Microsoft 365/Office Suite
Administer Azure/Entra ID (user accounts, access, basic configuration)
Assist with IT projects as needed (roughly 10% of the role)
