Job summary

FlexTrades is seeking an Information Technology Support Specialist to provide advanced technical support for a wide range of IT issues, including hardware setup, printers, video conferencing, and onboarding new hires.

This hybrid role requires residing within driving distance of Hudson, WI. You will assist with applications support, VOIP, and ticketing, while ensuring SLA timelines and professional communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 2+ year college degree in IT or equivalent technical training.
• 2+ years desktop support in corporate help desk; 1+ year supporting remote workforce.
• Experience managing hardware inventory and assets.
• Experience diagnosing and resolving end-user computer and telephony issues.
• Proficient with Office 365, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, Entra ID, Windows 11.
• Knowledge of Cloud-based apps, PowerShell, Mobile Device Management, printers, video/AV equipment.
• Strong English communication and customer service skills.
• Familiar with IT security policies and best practices.
• Organizational skills, teamwork, multitasking, and documenting cases.
• Willingness to pursue certifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and troubleshoot LANs, laptops, mobile hardware, video conferencing and AV.
• Manage applications and VOIP support; escalate to IT Manager when needed.
• Resolve connectivity issues in-person and remotely.
• Provision, configure, ship and support laptop hardware and mobile devices for new hires.
• Onboard/offboard users: account creation, access provisioning, security settings, and license allocation.
• Software installation and patching.
• Document support requests, updates and resolutions in ticketing system.
• Meet SLA timelines for resolving requests.
• Travel to Hudson office as needed for hybrid role.
• All other duties as assigned.
