Job summary

FMI Corporation seeks an IT Technical Support Analyst to provide onsite Raleigh support and remote help across FMI offices. You will troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, devices, and conferencing tech, manage Halo ITSM tickets, and deploy devices via Intune.

The role supports onboarding, asset management, and executive-level assistance, with a hybrid work setup in Raleigh and occasional travel. 65k–80k base, bonus potential.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional desktop or end user technical support in a Windows environment.
• Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and using an IT service management or ticketing platform.
• Experience with endpoint deployment, device management, and user account administration.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills; able to explain technical info to nontechnical users.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a distributed IT team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite technical support resource for the Raleigh office and provide remote support across FMI.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, Windows, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, printers, and conference room tech.
• Manage support requests in Halo ITSM from intake through resolution with clear user communication.
• Deploy and maintain Windows laptops and endpoint devices using Microsoft Intune.
• Provision user accounts, permissions, and Microsoft 365 access.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding, workstation setup, equipment deployment, and asset recovery.
• Configure and support Apple iPhones and other mobile devices.
• Maintain hardware inventory and device lifecycle documentation.
• Provide professional support to executive leadership; document procedures and knowledge base.
• Escalate advanced issues in infrastructure, networking, identity, server, or security with ownership.
