Job summary

Cal Poly's Information Technology Services (ITS) is hiring a Service Desk Consultant to deliver customer-focused support for applications and services. You will assist with user accounts, passwords, training, and documentation, and handle technology rentals and license management in a hybrid work setting.

You will join a DevOps-minded team of over 190 professionals supporting Cal Poly’s campus in California.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience.
• Additional experience may substitute education on a year-for-year basis.
• Advanced degree may substitute for required experience on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and intermediate user consultation and support.
• Assist with applications and services administration and training.
• Support technology rentals, software license management, and walk-in support.
