Job summary

Peckham Industries, Inc. is seeking an IT Security Intern to support IT and IT Security initiatives on-site and across the organization. You will gain hands-on experience across the OSI model and security stack while assisting with routine IT tasks.

The role includes developing and reviewing IT policies, coordinating Cybersecurity Awareness and phishing campaigns, and assisting with device setup and vulnerability remediation. A hybrid schedule and travel up to NY/Nebraska may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in an IT-related college program.
• Possession of one or more certifications such as Security+, Network+, A+, or AZ-900.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT and IT Security teams on varied projects and daily support tasks.
• Develop, review, and promote IT policies, standards, and procedures.
• Coordinate the Cybersecurity Awareness program including phishing campaigns and education content.
• Track and report metrics for company-wide education and phishing campaigns.
