Job summary

UL Solutions is seeking a Cyber Security Intern to join our Global Cybersecurity Team in Northbrook, IL. This role offers a hybrid arrangement with three on-site days per week and exposure to multiple security domains, including Governance, IAM, and Cloud Security as part of a 10–12 week project.

You will engage in gathering requirements, designing and testing security solutions, and helping with automation and awareness efforts while learning how security programs are planned and executed

Qualifications

• Rising senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security or related field.
• Excellent computer, spreadsheet, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Indefinite right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supporting cybersecurity projects by gathering requirements and designing solutions.
• Test security controls and help enhance our security solutions.
• Support IAM initiatives, governance, risk, and compliance activities.
• Coordinate with Cybersecurity, IT, and business stakeholders on requirements and risks.
• Track milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables for projects.
• Develop updates, dashboards, and briefing materials for leadership.
