Job summary

Marmon Group LLC in Chicago is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of technology initiatives across Marmon’s businesses.

The role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, security, infrastructure, applications, data, and support teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This is a hybrid role with strong collaboration across functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
• 3–7 years of project management, program management, or related IT experience.
• Experience leading cross‑functional technology projects with stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and support.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple IT projects from initiation through deployment and post‑implementation support.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, and status reports.
• Facilitate project meetings, reviews, steering committees, and communications.
• Coordinate work across applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity, data, vendors, and business stakeholders.
• Manage risks, issues, dependencies, scope changes, and escalations.
• Coordinate testing activities, including UAT, defect tracking, and deployment planning.
• Ensure adherence to IT governance, security, compliance, documentation, and delivery standards.
