Washington State Department of Natural Resources (DNR) seeks an IT Project Manager Senior/Specialist Supervisor to provide expert IT leadership in project management, following PMI standards. You will guide complex initiatives from initiation through closure, coordinating with vendors and stakeholders in a hybrid telework environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's in IT or related field, seven years of IT project management experience, and a PMP or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in information technology, computer science, or related field AND seven (7) years of IT project management experience.
Experience supervising IT personnel.
Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP) or equivalent.
Knowledge of IT disciplines including data management, security, networks, data storage, and architecture.
Strong leadership with strategic and operational planning, budgeting, and staff administration.

Responsibilities

Provide expert-level IT leadership applying PMI standards and best practices.
Develop and manage all aspects of IT project and program engagement from initiation to closing.
Monitor and control outcomes; resolve issues and risks; manage dependencies and critical path deliverables.
Lead IT governance meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders and sponsors.
Define and manage IT procurement processes and statements of work.
