Job summary

GovHRUSA is seeking an experienced Sr. IT Project Manager for a long-term contract in Milwaukee, WI. The role requires leading IT projects through full lifecycles, coordinating with IT leadership, business stakeholders, and external vendors in a hybrid onsite/remote environment.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in senior PM roles with IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations experience. You will manage budgets, schedules, risks, and governance, and coach teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of senior-level project/program management experience.
• Strong Agile and Waterfall experience with Jira or Azure DevOps preferred.
• Excellent communication with IT leadership, technical teams, business stakeholders and vendors.
• PMP or CSM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through full lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Manage multiple IT projects including schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and vendors.
• Lead IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and operations projects.
• Establish and improve PM processes, governance, and reporting.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and project documentation.
• Coordinate testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities.
