Job summary

The Department of Technology Management and Budget (DTMB) seeks an IT Programmer/Analyst for network solutions across state agencies in Lansing, MI. The role requires designing, developing, testing, and implementing networks while liaising with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements.

Hybrid work is offered with two on-site days and three remote days weekly. Candidates must meet Michigan's IT education paths; certifications may apply. Pre-employment checks are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 21 credits in computer science, data processing, or networking.
• Associate's degree with 16 credits and two years of IT experience; or two years as an IT Student Assistant may substitute.
• High school diploma plus four years of relevant IT experience or four years as IT staff substitute.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and implement network solutions for state Agencies.
• Act as liaison between technical and business stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Assign resources and manage daily operations for network projects.
• Collaborate with Program Directors, BRMs, and IT management on enterprise projects.

Education

Bachelor's degree (21 credits) in CS/IT/Networking/Math

Associate's degree (16 credits) in CS/IT/Networking/Math

High school diploma + 4 years IT experience
