Job summary

Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is seeking an IT Manager to join our Corporate IT team on a hybrid schedule across Canton, MA; Boston, MA; Farmington, CT or Raleigh, NC. You will oversee application, technology and infrastructure support, partnering with business leaders to drive strategic IT capabilities.

You’ll lead a capable team, deliver on CI/CD, DevSecOps, and AI initiatives while ensuring security and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/related field or equivalent work experience
• 7–10 years IT and software engineering experience
• Prior people management or team leadership experience
• Strong experience with .NET Core, React, Java and Azure
• Experience with RESTful APIs, security, performance and observability
• Experience with Agile delivery, DevOps/DevSecOps, CI/CD and cloud delivery
• Practical AI/GenAI experience in software development or ops
• Advanced understanding of IT applications and technologies

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach cross-functional teams across projects
• Establish and maintain relationships with senior business leaders
• Recommend improvements to business processes leveraging IT capabilities
• Coordinate prioritization for escalated issues and projects
• Promote clean-code practices, automated testing and engineering standards
• Advance DevSecOps capabilities, including CI/CD and IaC
• Support AI/GenAI adoption across development, testing and operations
• Manage project lifecycle and deliverables to meet milestones
