Job summary

Barilla America, Inc. is seeking an IT Infrastructure and Server Analyst to join our Northbrook, IL team in a hybrid role. You will install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, manage patches, support backups, and help with security remediations while collaborating with global IT teams.

The role requires strong communication, cloud experience (Azure/O365), virtualization expertise (VMware), and willingness to travel up to 20%. Barilla offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• At least 2 years of experience managing server or infrastructure projects.
• At least 1 year experience with cloud computing, preferably Azure and O365.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
• Experience with VMware or other hypervisor.
• Experience with Windows Server 2022 or 2019, system patching and basic server maintenance.
• Experience with Windows 11 and MS Office, and Office 365 including Outlook.
• Experience creating and deploying operating system images.
• Experience using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager or similar system.
• Experience deploying software with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager or similar system.
• Experience providing helpdesk support to users. Azure or other cloud certification a plus.
• Experience providing remote support via various methods.
• Experience building servers and working with virtualization a plus.
• Experience supporting a data center in a virtual environment a plus.
• Domestic and International travel may be required up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers.
• Apply patches and security updates per change management.
• Troubleshoot server, storage, and network issues.
• Monitor backups and perform restore tests.
• Support AWS S3 backups.
• Document deployment and decommissioning procedures.
• Assist with virtualization maintenance.
• Participate in disaster recovery testing.
• Provide first-level network connectivity support.
• Lead small to mid infrastructure projects.
• Assist with security remediations identified by security team.
• Maintain inventories per ISO27001.
• Provide remote support for remote sites.
• Travel up to 20%.
