Job summary

Barilla is seeking an IT Infrastructure and Server Analyst for a hybrid role based in Northbrook, IL. You will install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, manage backups, and support virtualization and cloud services (Azure/O365).

You’ll participate in disaster recovery and assist with security remediations while coordinating with global IT teams. The position emphasizes project leadership, documentation, and adherence to ISO processes, with travel up to 20% and a comprehensive

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
At least 2 years of experience managing server or other infrastructure projects.
At least 1 year experience with cloud computing, preferably Microsoft Azure and Microsoft O365.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently.
Experience with VMware or other hypervisor.
Experience with Windows Server 2022 or 2019, patching and maintenance.
Experience with Windows 11 and Office 365 including Outlook.
Experience creating and deploying operating system images.
Experience using SCCM or similar systems.
Experience deploying software with SCCM or similar systems.
Experience providing helpdesk support to users.
Azure or other cloud certification a plus.
Experience remote support via various methods.
Experience building servers and virtualization.
Experience supporting a data center in a virtual environment a plus.
Experience working in a global environment a plus.
Experience with networking and Cisco equipment a plus.
Domestic and international travel up to 20% may be required.

Responsibilities

Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of Windows and Linux servers.
Perform routine updates, patches, and security maintenance with change control.
Troubleshoot server, storage, and network issues.
Monitor backups, perform restore tests, and remediate backup issues.
Provide support for AWS S3 buckets for backup system.
Maintain server documentation and deployment/decommissioning checklists.
Support virtualization platforms and perform periodic maintenance.
Participate in disaster recovery testing and recovery.
Provide first-level support for network connectivity issues.
Assist with server and network installations, upgrades, and documentation.
Lead small to medium infrastructure projects on time and budget.
Support other systems (network, telephony, video conferencing) as needed.
Ensure ISO KPIs are calculated and reported (backup success ratio).
Backup test calendar activities and follow governance guidelines.
