Job summary

Milrose Consultants, LLC is seeking an IT Analyst, Infrastructure and Operations in New York, NY, with a hybrid schedule. You will be the first point of contact for IT support, troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networks to deliver reliable technology operations.

The role requires 3–5 years in an IT service desk, familiarity with ITSM tools, Windows/Microsoft 365, and Active Directory. Strong communication and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment are

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in an IT service desk or similar IT role.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure including networks, hardware, and software.
• Experience with ITSM tools for ticket management.
• Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft 365, and common business apps.
• Experience supporting on‑premises Active Directory environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service mindset.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level IT support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and application issues for end users.
• Log, track, and resolve incidents in ITSM following ITIL best practices.
• Provide remote and onsite technical assistance to minimize disruptions.
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 engineers or Infrastructure teams as needed.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot workstations, peripherals, and software.
• Assist with user account management and access permissions per IT security policies.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including system updates and patch management.
• Maintain documentation and knowledge base articles.
• Monitor IT systems and services to support continuous improvement.
