TEKsystems in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an experienced IT Help Desk/ Service Desk Support Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity. You will provide Tier 1 support via phone, email, and ticketing systems, troubleshoot hardware and software, and document tickets.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, strong customer service, and the ability to work in a high-volume environment; hybrid work arrangement in Grand Rapids.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Help Desk or Service Desk experience.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and user issues.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience using a ticketing system.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
• Log, prioritize, track, and resolve service requests and incidents.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and workstation issues.
• Perform initial diagnosis and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Maintain accurate documentation within ticketing systems.
