Job summary

FieldGuide IT is a people first, technology second IT services provider. As an IT Engineer you’ll be the hands-on problem solver our clients count on, handling on-site support and keeping networks and AV running across the Denver/Boulder region.

You’ll join a tight-knit team that values documentation, security-minded decisions, and a passion for helping people navigate technology with calm, clear guidance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years troubleshooting or supporting complex products and technology
• Strong customer-first mindset and service orientation
• Proficient in macOS and Windows troubleshooting and repair
• Clear written and verbal communication, translating technical issues for non-technical clients

Responsibilities

• Solve problems for real people using our ticketing system and PEOPLE FIRST mission.
• Troubleshoot Mac and Windows beyond basic reboot, including domain, profiles, and security issues.
• Deploy and configure hardware/software, imaging, enrollment, and MDM workflows.
• Keep networks, servers, and conference rooms running smoothly and reliably.
• Document the stack and create clear, detailed guides for teammates.
• Maintain security awareness and respond to threats as they arise.
• Provide on-site support across Denver/Boulder on a scheduled and ad-hoc basis.
• Collaborate with cross-team groups to deliver larger projects beyond individual tickets.
