Job summary

STI in Trenton, NJ is seeking an IT Asset & Inventory Data Specialist for a 12+ month contract in a hybrid on-site role. The candidate will handle asset data in Asset Cloud, including complex multi-quantity entries, and support 500+ municipalities with data collection and reconciliation.

Responsibilities include auditing NJ Courts assets, developing simplified WFH asset tracking, and training staff on Asset Cloud procedures, with strong emphasis on accuracy and secure handling of sensitive data.

Qualifications

• 3+ years with inventory or asset-tracking systems in IT or data management.
• Experience with data entry, extraction, reconciliation, and cloud platforms.
• Strong Excel skills for data manipulation and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Enter asset data into Asset Cloud, including complex multi-quantity entries.
• Mark and manage WFH assets, ensuring accurate categorization and tracking.
• Develop and implement a simplified process for tracking WFH assets.
• Conduct scanning and auditing of NJ Courts assets in Asset Cloud.
• Extract and upload asset, employee, vendor, and manufacturer info using Excel.
• Use Forms to collect asset data from 500+ municipalities and integrate it into Asset Cloud.
• Reconcile inventory reports, resolve discrepancies, and prepare summaries.
• Maintain records in Asset Cloud for assets, employees, vendors, and manufacturers.
• Provide support and training to Central Office and counties on Asset Cloud usage.
• Collaborate with management to troubleshoot data inconsistencies and document workflows.
• Provide ongoing staff training on Asset Cloud data entry and reporting.
