Job summary

City of Roseville is seeking an Information Technology Analyst I/II to support vital systems, monitor resources, troubleshoot issues, and provide Tier I/II support for 24/7 environments. You will prepare procedures, document security methodologies, and train users while coordinating cross-department projects.

The role offers hybrid work and may require after-hours or on-call support. Qualifications include a BA/BS in CS/IS with driver’s license and PD background check where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related field.
• Two years of responsible IT experience for Analyst II (or progression from I).
• Possession of a valid California driver’s license by date of appointment.
• Some positions require clearance of a Police Department background check within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I and II support for critical 24/7 communications, storage and computing environments.
• Monitor system resources, troubleshoot issues, and maintain procedures and security methodologies.
• Prepare technical reports and train users; foster cross-department relationships.
• Manage cross-department projects and support vendor sourcing and review efforts.
