Job summary

Overlake is seeking an IS Security Engineer II in Washington, a salaried position with benefits in a hybrid arrangement. The role protects IT software and systems, monitors threat landscapes, and ensures regulatory compliance.

You will work with Senior Security staff to maintain security posture across projects, mergers, acquisitions, and technology changes, while supporting security tool administration and vendor collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Security+ or equivalent certification required; if not certified, must obtain within six months from date of hire.
• 3 years of information security and/or networking experience required.
• Hybrid/remote - WA state address/residency required.

Responsibilities

• Protect IT software and systems from potential intrusions and other security breaches.
• Actively monitor changes to threat and vulnerability landscape inside and outside Overlake environment.
• Communicate key aspects of situational awareness within IS division to ensure security posture during projects and changes.
• Provide expertise in tactical planning and execution of the security plan; administer and support security tools.
