Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• Basic Security certification (Security+ or equivalent) required.
• If not certified at hire, obtain an appropriate certification within six months of the hire date.
• 3 years of information security and/or networking experience.
• Hybrid/remote role: must have a Washington state address/residency.

Job description

Protect Overlake’s IT environment by monitoring threats and vulnerabilities, enforcing security policies, and supporting secure project execution.

Responsibilities

• Protect Overlake IT software and systems from potential intrusions and other technological security breaches.
• Actively monitor changes in the internal and external threat and vulnerability landscape.
• Monitor and follow security systems and policies to protect data communication networks, including hardware, software, and computing services, supporting regulatory and audit compliance for Overlake departments, related properties, and associated physicians.
• Communicate key elements of situational awareness with Senior Security staff across the IS division to help maintain security posture during project implementations, merger and acquisition activity, and technology advancements or changes.
• Provide expertise and support for tactical planning and execution of the security plan.
• Administer and support a portfolio of complex Information Services security tools.
• Serve as security subject matter expert for key security projects, collaborating with multiple departments and vendors to deliver successful outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Basic Security certification (Security+ or equivalent) required.
• If not certified at hire, obtain an appropriate certification within six months of the hire date.
• 3 years of information security and/or networking experience.
• Hybrid/remote role: must have a Washington state address/residency.

Pay

• Salary range: USD 94,286 - 141,440 per year
• Posted pay ranges reflect the full pay scale from minimum to maximum.
