Job summary

Cybersecurity Jobs in Bellevue, WA, is seeking an IT security specialist to protect Overlake’s IT environment by monitoring threats and enforcing security policies during secure project execution.

Responsibilities include threat monitoring, policy enforcement, and collaboration with Senior Security staff to maintain security posture across projects, mergers, and technology updates. A strong emphasis on risk-aware planning and cross-department coordination is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; equivalent education/experience may be considered.
• Basic Security certification (Security+ or equivalent) required.
• If not certified at hire, obtain an appropriate certification within six months of the hire date.
• 3 years of information security and/or networking experience.
• Hybrid/remote role: must have a Washington state address/residency.

Responsibilities

• Protect Overlake IT software and systems from intrusions and security breaches.
• Actively monitor changes in internal and external threat landscape.
• Monitor and enforce security policies to protect data networks and services.
• Communicate situational awareness with Senior Security staff to maintain security posture during projects and changes.
• Provide expertise for tactical planning and execution of the security plan.
• Administer and support a portfolio of complex information security tools.
• Serve as security SME for key security projects with multiple departments and vendors.
