Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Brandon, FL is seeking an experienced IPA Consultative Coding Professional to provide medical coding expertise and consultative support to IPA affiliates nationwide. You will serve as the primary coding resource, drive accuracy and documentation standards, and collaborate with STARS leaders to improve performance.

The role includes quarterly chart reviews, targeted education, and hands-on support for coding workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of risk adjustment medical coding or risk adjustment provider education.
• MS Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Certification required: CCS, CRC, or CPC.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for assigned IPA providers for all coding and documentation inquiries.
• Conduct quarterly chart reviews to evaluate coding accuracy and risk capture opportunities.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive education based on findings and trends.
• Support coding workflows and tools, ensuring accurate documentation and coding standards.
• Participate in a daily coder helpdesk and provide real-time support to providers.
• Support HCC outage management and recapture opportunities.
