GCM Grosvenor is seeking an Analyst for the Investment Implementation team in Chicago. You will support day-to-day investment operations across asset classes, liaise with Investments, Portfolio Management, Legal, Fund Finance and Client Services, and coordinate with external partners.

The role is based in Chicago with hybrid schedule and in-office attendance Tuesday through Thursday. Base salary ranges from $80,000 to $100,000 USD, with potential discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifikationen

• BA/BS in Finance or related field with outstanding academic credentials.
• 0-4 years of experience in asset management, preferably in an investment operations role.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication, including with clients and external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and concern for quality and accuracy of work product.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated initiative and ability to manage projects independently from start to finish.

Aufgaben

• Liaise with internal teams and external investment partners regarding investment decisions and inquiries.
• Execute investments by implementing subscriptions, redemptions, and transfers.
• Prepare and disseminate investment documentation such as subscription and transfer documents.
• Manage AML and KYC requests ensuring timely responses.
• Serve as a point of contact for inquiries from external partners and service providers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to triage and respond to requests within deadlines.
• Negotiate and implement transactions to effect fund modifications and transfers in-kind.
• Review governing documentation to understand terms and track investments.
• Prepare client reports and implement customized client requirements.
• Review legal documentation for new funds to extract key information for investments.
• Perform liquidity analysis on investments.
• Monitor compliance with trading policies and procedures.
• Design controls and process improvements with IT to automate workflows.
• Lead and participate in special projects and report to senior management.
• Perform additional related duties as assigned.
