Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Accountant to assist the Accounting Director with day-to-day and month-end accounting and inventory tasks. The role reports to the Store Support Office in Phoenix, AZ, with a hybrid schedule in the office Tuesday through Thursday, offering opportunities to engage across departments and support stores and DCs.

Key duties include preparing entries and reconciliations, analyzing inventory and margin, researching variances, and processing eCom POs and recalls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years accounting experience.
• Excellent communication skills across functions and levels.
• Intermediate Excel knowledge.
• Workday experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare weekly and period-end entries and account analyses, assist with reconciliations for Sales/COGS/inventory.
• Research inventory variances and work with field personnel to resolve issues.
• Perform margin and shrink reporting and support physical inventories.
• Process eCom partner POs and Invoices (Workday).
• Create ad-hoc reports and analyses as required.
• Serve as backup for other departmental tasks as needed.
