Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, logistics, or related field.
• Logistical planning, supply chain, or related work experience preferred; education considered in lieu of work experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and customer service preferred.
• APICS certification or progress toward certification preferred.
• Professional certification preferred (e.g., APICS).
• Strong statistical and spreadsheet analytical skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic financial analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and purchase inventory from Contract Manufacturers.
• Develop deployment strategy based on demand and production plans.
• Plan and create purchase orders within SAP.
• Communicate purchase plans with contract manufacturers.
• Manage inventory shortage reports and take action to reduce shortages.
• Communicate shortages to Customer Service and other stakeholders.
• Maintain outbound shipment load plan and optimize freight utilization.
• Track and develop plans to reduce unplanned shortages.
• Analyze inventory to minimize spoilage.
• Develop actionable plans to improve order fill rate.
