Candidates should have a JD from a top-tier law school, be admitted to the DC Bar, and bring 2–4 years of international trade experience. Large-firm experience is preferred, with strong research and communication skills.

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with excellent academic record.
• Active Bar Admission in Washington, DC, in good standing.
• 2-4 years of substantive international trade experience.
• Experience counseling clients on U.S. international trade regulatory issues.
• Experience with trade remedy matters, including AD/CVD proceedings.
• Litigation experience before U.S. trade agencies and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
• Experience advising on OFAC sanctions and EAR export controls.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on international trade and regulatory compliance.
• Counsel on U.S. trade remedy laws, including AD/CVD proceedings.
• Represent clients before government agencies and the U.S. Court of International Trade.
• Provide strategic advice regarding U.S. economic sanctions, export controls, and cross-border regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regulatory analyses and assist clients in developing compliance programs.
• Monitor developments in trade policy, sanctions, and export control regimes.
• Collaborate with attorneys across practice areas on complex matters.
