General Motors Company is seeking an Interiors Engineering Designer to shape advanced vehicle interiors. You will develop detailed interior components and system-level designs balancing functionality, safety, and aesthetics.

You will leverage NX CAD modeling, Teamcenter, and TcVis while collaborating with Architecture, Studio Design, Safety, and Manufacturing teams to translate concepts into manufacturable solutions.

Qualificações

• Requires B.S. in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of experience.
• Advanced NX CAD modeling skills and familiarity with Teamcenter/TcVis.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles for automotive interiors.

Responsabilidades

• Develop highly integrated interior subsystems to resolve packaging challenges.
• Collaborate with Vehicle Architecture, Studio Styling and Release Engineer teams.
• Apply DFSS and design-thinking to balance cost, mass, and manufacturability.
• Integrate safety requirements into interior architectures exceeding standards.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Ensure interiors align with safety, occupant accommodations, storage, and accessibility.
• Participate in CITs and SDIT Workgroups for best practices.
• Benchmark interiors to meet industry standards.
• Create and maintain NX models for surface guidance and space claims.
• Incorporate Voice of the Customer insights into packaging and design.
