Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 7–10+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in education tech or services.
• CPA preferred but not required; prior management experience is essential.
• Hands-on with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) and GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close processes with hands-on GL, journal entries, accruals, reconciliations.
• Oversee AP/AR, balance sheet management, and financial statement prep and review.
• Ensure GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting for the organization.
• Guide budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support planning decisions.
• Support deferred revenue accounting and internal control improvements.
• Mentor two direct reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams on reporting needs.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist during audits.
• Perform ad hoc reporting as required.
