Mom’s Meals seeks an Intake Manager to lead a large team of Intake Specialists and Supervisors responsible for authorizations from Area Agencies on Aging, managed care organizations, and health plans. The role also heads a Call Center dedicated to ILOS, 1115, and PD/CC clients, with a strong focus on process efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.

The position is local to Des Moines, IA, with hybrid remote/in-office work required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of management experience in health, human services, managed care, or insurance.
• Strong understanding of medical and ancillary benefit authorization process and payor portals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to drive process improvements and manage multiple priorities.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a team of ~100 front-line employees and 5-8 supervisors.
• Track and document employee performance; conduct reviews.
• Create and distribute reports for senior leadership.
• Train, motivate, and coach staff to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Lead cross-functional meetings with care, sales, and revenue teams.
• Foster strong relationships with health plans and referral sources.
