Job summary

Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance is seeking a Product Training Specialist II to develop and enhance training programs for insurance agents across products and systems. The role includes facilitating sales training through multiple methods and traveling to other offices for trainings about 25% of the time.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years of training experience, knowledge of adult learning principles, and the ability to design resources and evaluate training effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of adult learning principles.
• Experience developing instructor-led and self-guided training materials.
• Some sales training experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and enhances training programs for Insurance Agents.
• Provides support for Agents in Insurance concepts and sales.
• Designs training resources for all insurance products and systems.
• Facilitates sales training via live presentations, web conferencing, computer-based training, and one-on-one with Agents.
• Continuously assesses and improves training programs.
• Gathers information on trainings and analyzes discrepancies.
• Creates training using storyboards.
• Attends conferences related to talent development.
