Job summary

Aon plc seeks an Experienced Associate in Insurance Strategy Consulting (P&C) to work in a hybrid role from Chicago, IL. You will support Strategy Advisory projects, leveraging data analysis, market research, and financial modeling to deliver actionable client recommendations.

You will collaborate with Client Leaders, Project Managers, and leadership, applying Agile principles and managing multiple workstreams under tight timelines. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, Economics, or a closely related field.
• Experience in consulting, finance, corporate strategy, insurance, or similar business environments.
• Experience supporting consulting engagements, client workstreams, or strategic business initiatives.
• Practical understanding of project management methods and Agile in professional settings.
• Strong business analysis, including identifying needs and designing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in full lifecycle of client engagements, supporting delivery of workstreams and business transformation projects.
• Apply project management and Agile principles to coordinate workstreams and manage priorities.
• Conduct business analysis to understand client objectives, requirements, and operating models.
• Perform data analysis, data management, financial modeling, and data visualization to generate insights.
• Develop arguments assessing strategic opportunities, investments, and operating improvements.
• Conduct market and subject-matter research to guide strategies and client recommendations.
• Review risk management procedures and contribute to risk strategy development.
